Mike graduated from the University of South Carolina with his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and Human Performance. During his undergraduate career, he interned with multiple collegiate and professional organizations including EXOS (formerly Athlete’s Performance) and USC in which he had the opportunity to work with the 2010 and 2011 World Series championship teams. After his undergraduate studies, Mike worked as a private wellness consultant and strength coach while continuing to oversee several collegiate long term athletic development programs. Mike also worked as the head of content and editorial management for a large-scale fitness website before continuing to further graduate studies. He completed his Masters in exercise physiology and applied sport science at East Tennessee State University while working under the head of sport biomechanics for the Olympic training site at ETSU. Mike plans to continue his education with further doctoral work in the realms of integrative medicine, sleep science, or physical therapy.
